Taylor Parker is a Physician Assistant with 11 years of experience caring for patients in the lowcountry. After spending the past 14 years in Charleston, South Carolina, Taylor is relocating to Murrells Inlet to be closer to family and is excited to begin the next chapter of her career with Coastal Vascular and Vein.

Taylor earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and her master’s degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She spent the past seven years practicing in neurosurgery, building extensive experience caring for patients with complex conditions and developing a strong appreciation for thoughtful, individualized care. Prior to neurosurgery, she worked in interventional pain management.

Taylor was drawn to vascular surgery and Coastal Vascular and Vein because of the group’s emphasis on patient-centered, high-quality care.She enjoys the complex problem-solving involved in vascular medicine and surgery and values the opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients.

A strong believer in communication and education, Taylor takes the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns and goals, and clearly explain their diagnosis and treatment options. She believes patients are best served when they are active participants in their care and enjoys working with them through shared decision-making to develop treatment plans that align with their individual needs and goals.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, being on the boat and at the beach, and traveling. She is excited to become part of the Murrells Inlet community and to continue building lasting relationships with her patients and colleagues.
