Dr. Kristian Hochberg, MD, is a respected vascular surgeon whose journey in medicine has taken him from the rolling hills of Carroll County, Maryland, to becoming a leading figure in his field. Hailing from the picturesque region west of Baltimore, Dr. Hochberg's academic pursuits began at the University of Maryland, where he embarked on his undergraduate studies, laying the groundwork for his future in medicine.

After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Hochberg's dedication to medicine led him to the University of Rochester, where he pursued his General Surgery Residency, graduating in 2007. It was during this time that he cultivated his surgical skills and developed a passion for vascular surgery.

Driven by a desire to specialize further in his chosen field, Dr. Hochberg undertook a fellowship in Vascular Surgery through the University of Maryland, further refining his expertise and knowledge in the intricacies of vascular conditions and treatments. He completed his fellowship in 2009, emerging as a highly skilled and proficient vascular surgeon.

Board certified in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Hochberg exemplifies excellence in his field, consistently providing patients with the highest quality of care and surgical expertise. Beyond his medical achievements, Dr. Hochberg is known for his diverse interests outside of the operating room. An avid golfer, he enjoys spending his leisure time on the greens, honing his skills and relishing the camaraderie of the sport. Additionally, Dr. Hochberg has a passion for culinary exploration, delighting in the opportunity to sample new and diverse cuisines.

Words can’t explain how amazing this place is! I’ve never had such a wonderful experience at a doctors office in my life!! The staff was incredible and thorough. They actually READ the past medical history that I took the time to write out on the paperwork. I truly don’t feel like any other Dr’s office has done that. While I was waiting, I could hear how they talked to other patients and was so impressed by their kindness and consideration. When I was being seen, I had the most thorough exam I’ve ever had (and I’d just had a physical the week before!). She not only listened to what I had to say, but really HEARD me, and asked many pertinent questions in order to make sure I received the best and most appropriate care. Also, the waiting room wasn’t full of people because they obviously care more about quality over quantity! I could honestly go on and on about this office...but there’s not enough room. Suffice it to say, I’m 44 years old and have been to a LOT of different medical offices in my life, but this is the first one that I’ve left feeling like I’m actually getting the care and treatment that I need!! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing a vascular/vein specialist!!
